If you are referring to the Kavanaugh confirmation process, I have 6 bottles of my favorite IPA cooling awaiting the positive outcome. If in reference to the state of the USA, guarded optimism, a Budweiser state of mind. Mid term elections, I'm counting on the disgraceful behavior of the Dems to piss off a whole bunch of voters which will in turn create Red Tsunami at the voting booths.

All that aside, I'm always optimistic about a new day.

Im optimistic that either the resistance bull shit will either realize that all the winning is going to that which they resist

or

they will finally be frustrated to the point of exposing their true nature and perhaps we are at the end of the beginning and its the beginning of their end.

Not optimistic at all but I am a staunch pessimist. Here is how I see it playing out:

Kavanaugh will not get the appointment because at least two Republicans flip - probably Flake and the Maine whatever her name is
The Democrats and #MeToo will cheer from the mountain tops
Conservatives will become enraged and prepare for the midterms
The midterm blue wave amounts to a drop in the bucket as energized conservatives take care of business
The liberal gangs (ANTIFA and Redneck what their fucks as examples) start slap fights and get curb stomped
Things escalate from there

I hope Kavanaugh gets the appointment though

I remember those, they used to leave a big ol box of them at the doors of Marine berthing when liberty was sounded, and yes they were some thick frigging cock socks.
