According to what I know, LAW is for pretty much arctic conditions.

That's it. Won't freeze in the action or gum it up.

April 91????? that is well past expiry date. I'm pretty sure it's gone bad by now.

Funny, I have a military can of OD green spray paint. I swear it's bottomless and lasts forever. I've painted a good bit of shit with it and other cans have dried up and it's still going. It was pretty heavy to start with. Dated mid 80's! I'm gonna cry when it runs out.

I swear, you could've painted a damn car complete with one can. And it sprays very well too. Go figure.

Can get synthetic motor oil at Autozone for less than that
literally $5/ quart for 10W30.....going to do the exact same thing.

ive had people on other forums tell me "you shouldnt use motor oil on guns because its not 'made' specifically for guns".....

apparently marking something "gun lube" and overcharging for it makes it better suited for firearms.....

    Arfcom? M4C?

    Stupid people are stupid

ETA: I recently rebarelled an AR and instead of using moly grease on the barrel nut threads (like the Army TM says) I used Mobil blue bearing grease (what I have in the garage). Rifle still works and the barrel hasn't flown off yet.
