Not 100% sure where exactly you're at in SE MI but Williams Gunsight in Davison by Flint is a good option for a lot of guys over there. If you don't mind shipping it in state then I would highly recommend sending it to Justin @ Precision Rifle Company / Spinners in Dorr, MI (south of GR a little ways). He builds and works on all of my rifles now and does top notch work with fast turn around! Shoot me a PM if you want his contact info.
Yea I've never had them work on one of my rifles personally, but I have bought a 257 Roberts and a 223 that were built by them and they are both hammers so I have no doubt that they do good work.
ADCO is in Sylvania Ohio and Jon Addis (Area 419) is in the same proximity, so just a little south. Both are excellent.
I am also located in SE MI and had area 419 do some work, before that i used pierce eng in lansing. Both have done a fine job, but my go to would be area419. heard good things about spinners in GR but never had anything done there yet.
OP, where in Michigan are you located? If you're in the SE I'd recommend venturing to Lansing and working with Pierce Engineering. Their work is exceptional.
