Try as adults? Why not just put some chains on them and toss them off a boat. Getting annoyed with how much we want to “rehabilitate” people now days. We got enough people, you fuck up bad enough, you shouldnt get a second chance.

Too many Elite Politicians and Hollywood types either live here or have homes here. Then throw in some Haitian VooDoo and Spanish Santeria chicken head choppers. You end up with a place with great weather and high psychosis levels. When they see a fairly normal Human like me

I was seriously shaking my head over this last night when I first read about it. These two girls aren't even teens though, and are obviously extremely confused and misguided, as I'm not really sure this classifies as a real mental illness in this case. How in the fuck they got to this level of morbidity without the parents having red flags smacking them in their face is beyond me, and I feel compelled to believe it's another example of today's situation of kids being raised with way too much tech in their hands and parents letting Google do the child rearing instead of themselves doing it. That might be a longshot and is probably also very narrow, but I guarantee it's a major contributing factor in this case. They certainly didn't dream this shit up on their own, that's for sure, and you can guarantee there's a lot more going on in their school and home life that steered them in this direction.
As for trying them as adults and/or casting them overboard in chains, these are children in every sense of the definition. Had they gotten to the point of drawing blood I may differ in opinion as to incarceration, but I certainly say they need to be helped rather than tossed away like trash. In America, we don't do that third world, medieval level bullshit.

My wife’s thoughts on this, little background on her opinion. She was a ESE, (exceptional student education) also know as handicap kids for about ten years. She also helped shape some of the ciriculum for Florida State University. She taught children, young adults, and gave evaluation assessments of troubled kids. So I default to her opinion in matters like this.
She points out that these girls actively planned and tried to hide their intentions so they could pull it off. So they knew right from wrong. As hard as it is for some to accept. Some kids are just broken inside and it has nothing to do with upbringing. There is no helping them, better luck next life.

Age does not matter when it comes to certain things. When you have texts and diaries between each other about murdering younger children, quartering them and drinking their blood then killing yourself, you are no longer a child. This was pure malice.

theres thousands of kids born into the pill mill, oxzy, roxy, whatever pills are out there.
i dont know how things are by you, but here its very bad. the pill usage here was so far out of control its going to have our area reeling from the damages

Sometimes one can begin to wonder if perhaps all these evil little snowflakes might need to get a front row seat to see somebody getting stoned for murder or such, to impress on their evil little minds that if you want to "worship satan" by killing people... well we can go old school religion on you as well & it hurts.

Once upon a time parents were careful about who their child saw, who their child interacted with, what they read, what radio or TV shows they viewed, to make sure their kids were not exposed to bad influences.
Then all the lazy idiots started letting their kids be raised by the TV which was bad enough, but at least there were a few standards or controls on TV.
Then the internet, cell phones, online communications, social media came along and the parents just said basically:
"Here you go, a direct sewer pipe to all the worst things humanity can possibly offer or dream up and a direct hotline to the worst people on the planet. Oh and there is probably stuff there worth learning and some of your friends might be there as well... have fun and don't bother us."
So you send your precious little snowflake with no training, no support, no religious dogmas, no actual real life experience, no guidance when they need help, or such to help shield them and tell them to have fun and tough it out.
Then they are surprised when their kid is murdering somebody because it will make some imaginary creature like them better, or killing themselves because they found out their "friends" on social media are actually a mob and they got on the wrong side of whatever was the "in" belief that day & they have no clue how to handle it.
I see it every day: parents who barely know their kids. Like anything else in life, you get out what you put in. Mine are young, but they'll have "smart" phones (what a fucking oxymoron) when they can afford to buy one and the plan themselves.
Good luck, seriously. We didn't have TV till my wife was pregnant with our second. Fast forward 13 years and I just inherited my first ipad from my 6 y/o; he got an upgrade. Wish I could go back and just say "Fuck No".
Everybody says the same thing: "good luck not buying them a phone." I fail to see how chance comes into play. The decision was made as part of the decision to have kids in the first place. My wife and I are on the same page so it won't be an issue. We have no use for social media and she, as a college prof, loathes mobile devices even more than me because her disrespectful, shit head students won't put them away for 50 goddam minutes so she can teach them anatomy (paraphrasing her lol). When the kids start driving, or maybe before that when they're more mobile riding bikes to friends' houses etc, I'll get them a burner that they can use to place voice calls, no data. If such a thing exists at the time. And better yet, if I can program in a few numbers they can call and no others: mine, wife's, house, my office, 911...and that's it. "Put this in your pocket and call me if you need a ride."
The internet is an awful place (present company excluded...sometimes) and kids have NO business having access to it. Parental controls on the TV will let them watch cartoons and we rigidly control the duration. I moved up into the mountains to a small town to escape the world, I'll not have my unwitting children corrupted by the dregs of it through a screen.
All I can say is fuck yeah. Keep doing what you're doing.
I wish my ex-wife would have been a reasonable person. Things would have been better for my daughters.
I brought them here to Florida from South Dakota and that started their tailspin. Guess that's my fault, but I'm trying to undo a lot of what social media and the internet affected in their view of the world.
They are slowly turning around but it's a painful process for them and me.

My 20yr old youngest and I were talking this morning about her growing up and she's thankful for me being hard on them. She said if I hadn't, that reality would have been too hard to handle.

I blame a lack of proper religious training. Anybody with a little bit of sense knows that Satan will take you as you are, no special introduction required.
If you are still not sure, then just pick a specific interpretation and perform the correct amount of blasphemy and sacrilege just give you that extra peace of mind.

There I was, 11 or 12 or something, browsing full-auto.org and learning valuable life lessons from some of the craziest motherfuckers on the planet. Gun boards kept me grounded, lmao.
So fast forward to a couple of years ago, my son was at the age where educational kid videos were exciting for him, and we ran with that for a while. Language videos, sciencey type shit, etc. He was glued to that for the longest, then one day someone showed him a video of some asian kid opening toys and fucked it all up. Today, he rarely touches a phone except to hand it to one of us. We don't run the TV while he's awake, and I try to keep him focused on stuff that'll help him realize all the cool shit he can do if he focuses on it.
Knowing what I know, and how I was raised, I would NEVER EVER EVER let that shit fly today. Unsupervised consumption of content on the internet is fucking nuts for impressionable young kids. It was bad when I was doing it, but it has only gotten worse over the years.
I never came across anything quite this fucked.... Now that shit is front row out in public.

Considering that Florida is where America goes to die, a lot of things could easily get messed up.
If a significant part of your population is made up of self centered retirees from the communist northern states come down to enjoy warmer weather and not having their retirement savings taxed while waiting to die, I could see a bit of trouble on the whole political landscape after a bit.
