Anyone else notice?

The other day, POTUS was exiting Marine1 and I noticed their were two Marine guards (I thought there was usually just one), and also noticed the second guard was armed. Again, I thought on those posts, they were mostly ceremonial, and never noticed the white pistol holster on them before in the past.

Maybe I'm mistaken?

Just thought it odd, given all the recent turbulence.

I think there has always been more than one with at least one armed.

I just figure with any POTUS for every firearm you see multiply that number by about a factor of 5 and that’s how much firepower/overwatch is looking after him.

Think it has something to do with that one of the Marines is helicopter crew and the other is the ground "guard".

The crew Marine is unarmed.

Trump flew over my place when he came to AZ and it was something to watch the 2 that the president rides on with a few Osprey (think that’s what their called) running escort. For me as a civilian, all that military hardware was impressive and couldn’t help thinking that if those were hostile this would really suck?

I live right by the airport in corpus Christi TX and when Trump came by last year, it was definitely something to see as well lol.
