I am new to the forum and currently looking for a new chassis rifle, I have been shooting F T/R for a few years and I am looking to move into a 6.5CM for PRS style events. I have been looking at these two rifles as well as a few others..mainly the Kelbly NYX, MPA 6.5CM. I know the Kelbly is new to the market but does any body have any experience with it? I have a budget of around 3k for the rifle.

Thanks

I think you may want to edit your post as you do not actually mention the other rifle that has captured your interest. Never heard a bad word about the Kebly. Just make sure that you order the repeater action because they also make single shots.

The two i am mainly looking at are between the the Kelbly NYX and the MPA 6.5CM, I know there may be a ton of other options so feel free to suggest others. I have tried to do some research on the Kelbly but not much is showing up.

Kelbly's has been making rifles for a very long time and are world class in customer service. Take the time to call them and just ask questions about the rifle and shooting and you will be impressed. That entire Family is awesome.
I will definitely call or may even stop in to talk to them, i am very local, and probably only 25 minutes from them! I think that is the way i am leaning of the two

I believe the MPA complete rifles can be built on a variety of actions. My buddy had one with the Kelbly's atlas tactical action and I really liked it. If you are considering the MPA rifle with a atlas tactical action, then you should just be asking yourself if you want the MPA chassis or the XLR chassis that the NYX rifle uses.

Both will be very nice rifles without a doubt.

I live very Close to Kelbly's and they are first rate. I am talking about the guns and the people running the show over there. They build some of the most accurate weapons in the entire world in the bench rest shooting industry. They know what they are doing. And as someone else already stated, MPA uses Kelbly's action on some of their rifles. My friend has one in 6.5 creed and it shoots lights out.

So glad to hear about interest in the NYX Rifle! This rifle is the culmination of the best action, barrel, and chassis for the application. The Atlas Tactical has been proven for many years in the field now as one of the most reliable actions around. It can be packed with dirt and still run, when others won't. The Krieger barrel we use is a Heavy Palma with an .870" diameter muzzle for rigidity and balance. The XLR Carbon Chassis is one of the best fit chassis' we have seen, we don't have any issues with inlets or quality. The 360 degree handguard makes it great for barricade shooting and being able to place your hand on top of the handguard without touching the barrel and skewing the barrel point of impact. The handguard is also an M-Lok handguard allowing for many attachments like picatinny rails, ARCA rails, barricade stops, and quick detach sling swivels. We also have setups that allow for NVG setups for LEO/MIL applications. The added cost of the NYX at $3300 is due to having the Bix N Andy TacSport trigger and the Krieger match grade barrel. We finish it all in H&M BlackNitride and that gives it a rugged finish and will give you a lifetime of service. The parts in this rifle are all built to the same quality as our world record holding F-Class rifles. The ignition of the Atlas Tactical action is the exact same as all of our top tier competition rifles. We didn't skimp on anything for this rifle. We continually test these rifles for customers and have accuracy that is under .25 MOA with factory ammo for three shots. We also back the NYX up with our Lifetime Warranty. We can't wait to hear from you and will answer any questions that you may have!
