I have a couple of the Str8laced bags I purchased prior to them becoming a TAB Gear product.

Is there any difference between pre-Tab and post-Tab bags?

    Thanks

I don't know the answer to your question exactly but I'll share an experience that may be related.

A friend let me borrow his Str8laced bag for a couple weeks a while back. That bag was pretty mushy. You could almost fold it in half. Since then I was looking at new Str8laced bags at a local store and those bags were much firmer. They were still light weight but much firmer. They looked the same from what I recall.

Mine started out nice and firm and I loved it. With little use it turned into the mushy fold in half thing. Whatever filling they used broke down so fast and now it’s borderline useless for my needs

I added fill to mine, now it works well. If I need it firmer I tighten it with the cords on the sides. I got it as a Str8laced bag in 13' or 14'. I found the same fill that was used in the bag on Amazon. I can't remember the name of it. If I remember, I'll take a picture of the full bag later.

Id be interested in attempting to refill it to get it back to its former glory days. Id have to stuff a ridiculous amount into it at the start to hopefully get it back to where I want it once it breaks down again but id be willing to try.

Here you go. The fill has never broken down on me like you describe. It simply didn't have enough fill in the first place.
