Thinking about selling it and buying a bobro or other top flight mount as my rifle is a mk12 cloneBit quick for a bump but the general consensus is that if you have them and they work for you great but to avoid them would be the safest move.
It is american defenseignorance is bliss,
We have warned against cheap rings, and especially vertically split rings, but misery loves company.
Ok what does the hide consider the best ar scope mount?and somehow that makes it better?
As I said,
The scope is a attacr 1/8/24there are plenty of good scope mounts. american defense even makes a horizontally split ring version (they call it the SCAR/AR10 mount).
vertically split rings can cause torque on your scope body and cause tracking issues. I've experienced it first hand with ADM mounts.
i'd use a ADM mount all day on a LVPO or similar but for a long range scope where you need to dial a lot. i would avoid it and not take the chance.
