I wondered what took so long for someone to post this. I was going to post it this morning if no one else had. This has got to be one of the most dumbfounding things I've ever seen. The Chief Justice goes out of his way to make a completely political statement, saying that judges aren't political! It has got to be the most demonstrably false statement made in history. It makes "If you like your doctor you can keep him," and "We will have peace in our time" seem downright credible. If, as he says, there are "no Obama judges and no Clinton judges..." then where was he when the Left tried to tear this country apart, and storm his Court over a "Trump judge" nomination? And, furthermore, if there is ever a legal challenge to a Republican President, why is the suit always filed in the 9th Circuit, hmmmm? And finally, what made him switch his own vote on Obamacare at the last second and go against EVERYTHING he had previously said? HMMMM?

It really is the stupidest statement I've seen from a public figure in recent memory (not counting the "crazies" like Maxine). And the real question is, WHY??? He kept his mouth shut when Obama disingenuously called them out to their face on LIVE TV with a much more serious, personal accusation. But now, with no direct involvement whatsoever, in a matter that is not even before his court yet, he feels the uncontrollable urge to shoot his mouth off with a lie so blatant that there isn't a single person left in the country who would believe it. Way to marginalize yourself, so that no one ever pays any attention to anything you ever have to say again!

I thought this initially then I started looking at decisions and what these people do and not what others say about them. He makes the wrong decision every time, he makes the most important decisions by not deciding at all, like which case gets heard and how arguments of both sides are framed. Thing is the president is a politician, he has to tell people what he stands for and run for reelection. Roberts is a Judge, he should keep his mouth shut about politics. I love the passions and discussions in threads like this.

There is a huge difference in hope and reality. We all hope that things improve and this liberal-communist agenda is reversed. Some hope that it will happen through education and a change in how people vote. Others are concerned that it will only happen by force. If we look at history, so far, this change has not occurred by by votes and education. As the liberal agenda grows so does the control. After this past election I have lost a lot of hope due to the rampant fraud and some of the people that were elected. I also think the violent path will no longer work. I think the US is lost and it will never be even a pale shadow of what it use to be.
