Messaging pictures

Hey guys this might be a stupid question or posted in the wrong spot, if so let me know and I’ll gladly move it,,but I’m new And I can’t figure out how to message pictures to another member. I’m doing it off my phone if that matters, but so far the only way I’ve figured out is to upload them to imagure and then copy and paste the links. I can attach images to threads no problem just not messaging them

I can do it in a thread and I know what your talking about but I don’t have that button for messages. Here’s some pics of what I’m seeing, and I’ve tried to go through my setting to see if I have something turned off somewhere but I haven’t found anything of that nature yet

The little button, looks like a mountain and a sun, that let's you drop pics right into it. Hit it and a box will come up that says drag your picture here, on a PC drag the picture into the box, on my phone I tap that square and it opens up my picture gallery to select a pic.

The first picture is what I get when I click on that thumbnail in the messages, the second is what I get when I click on that thumbnail in a forum. The second picture does allow me to post pictures in forums my problem is that I don’t have a computer so everything is off my iPhone or iPad if that matters

Would it maybe matter that I have 28 “messages” according to my profile? I purchased the 25$ full member 101 post upgrade but I’m wondering if there’s something in the software that’s keeping me from being able to do that.

It does that in the forum side but not when I go to messages. See pics above. I’m considering tagging lowlight to he if he has an idea but I’d hate to bug the man

I have the same issue on my mac... only wants a URL? won't let me attach a pic

Yeah and I run an iPhone so maybe it’s something to do with apples technology
