I'd look at the Bushnell LMSS 8-40 spotter over the Legend T - and I own the Legend T. The Legend is hard to beat for the money, but when you have a $1500 budget the LMSS is the way to go. There may be some new announcements coming at Shot, as well.

I have the legend T. I think it is a great value. However I’m not very impressed with the optics. I have a 65mm celestron regal that is considerably better optically than the bushnell, butnitnis a larger form factor and no mil reticle
