We used to live across the street from a single mom whose daughter was on a life support machine in the house and she was on a list of similar families down at the power company, during the big ice storm of 2008 we got power back before the police station did....What we do have is a circuit that can be fed from two directions, underground to the house, and two key high ranking employees on the line. ?
Boutetourt County looks like it going to get it bad.... sheesh... I-81 will be a mess.
Just north of you. Pretty much the same. 6-8, no problemThat came through here (Miami river valley, Ohio) yesterday.
Started snowing just past midnight on Friday and didn't stop until a couple hours ago. I got somewhere between 6 and 8 inches.

Although serious ice like Tucker may have sucks. That shit eats power lines for fun.

Think I was down in your area today taking generators to offices w/o power.
When the sun hit some of the ice covered trees it looked like they were made of polished metal.
