I bet some of y'all thought I was crazy.

Don't most drugs come into the country through ports of entry anyway? Maybe we can do better there. Wall? Don't mind it, so long as we don't have to take a ton of land from private citizens.

Regardless, the fundraising efforts of that fellow are impressive.
I'll bet a dollar to a donut that the land owners would gladly donate the land needed for a wall to get their land secured.....just saying

Who said that the wall needs to be on 'this' side of the line? "The Land" can just as easily be donated or expropriated from Mexico, too. Just put up the damn wall already.

Latest update:

Hey guys people out there are trying to discourage you and spreading lies. I'll set it straight.

If the wall gets funded by the govt, this fund will no longer be needed. My original promise stands true to refund. However many people also don't want a refund and would like it to go to a charity since it's such a large amount; actually most people have said donate it . IF... the wall gets funded, you will have two options, refund or donate.

Wepay will process all refunds, and then what is left over we will donate to a recognized charity that we agree on.

Furthermore, we are pushing on, the wall has not been funded yet. DON'T STOP! THE MISSION CONTINUES!

Sign our petition, we are taking it to DC to show the support! WeFundTheWall.com
Help spread the word!

Interesting turn of events. He got a little political between the 12-15 mil mark and started some side ventures which was not at all surprising, and the T-shirts look neat (Though I don't know why NO ONE ever does button-up shirts). Seems like he's kinda lost at this point as to what to do from here. So many people, so much money, and he doesn't want to disappoint people.

Refund or donation? I'd probably choose refund at this point.

Definitely would be nice to have a dynamic voting platform, though.

This is a really unique opportunity to figure out what people really want.

Basically,

A single question:
"What do you want me to do with your money?"

With an open input box:
Say something like: Donate to GOA, Donate to NRA, Refund it

Whatever shit gets typed in becomes a line item, and all those requests get scored and plotted.

e.g.,

Python:
from collections import Counter

from operator import itemgetter

# Populated by folks entering whatever the hell it is they want to be done with the money
example_user_input = [
    "Donate to GOA", # From Jim Beam in Kentucky
    "Donate to GOA", # From Tyler Davis in Rhode Island
    "Donate to NRA", # From Some Guy in Belfast
    "Refund it", # From Michael Jordan in Michigan
    "Refund it", # From Yo Momma in Istanbul
    "Buy more ammo" # From Army Jerry in Matagalpa
]

results = Counter(example_user_input)
sorted(results.items(), key=itemgetter(1), reverse=True)   # -> [('Donate to GOA', 2), ('Refund it', 2), ('Donate to NRA', 1), ('Buy more ammo', 1)]

For now, I just gotta deal with the comments.

You accuse a guy you dont know of skimming off an account, an account being watched by all your friends in .gov and the MSM, you could be sued for defamation. Keep going smarty pants.

Not that I disagree with you on the corruption, it is deep in both parties but the dems are born criminals. Keep pounding away though, you will ensure the Trump 2020 Train continuing down the track. I hope you are on FB and other social media. People like you are hated so much you motivate them to vote.

Yeah, because there hasn’t been a number of republicans indicted, pleading down, and sent to prison lately. You are without a doubt one of the dumbest people I have ever seen.

Dang, a little sensitive about corruption are we? We keep telling authoritarians like you they’re ALL corrupt, but you keep demanding we give them more power! Who’s the dumb fuck?

The communist scumbags are against the wall because they have perverted the legal system. If an illegal touches American soil they are provided legal rights. You can't just kick their ass back across the border. They get a hearing and are released until a court date. They never show up for the court date so the communist liberals are happy. Not just the ones in the democrap party but the ones in the repukian party as well.

Allegedly there's some "HUGE NEWS" coming out today or tomorrow. I think he's losing steam because he got sidetracked with t-shirts and isn't communicating with people directly. That pivot turned out to be a bad idea, too. Now he's pulling the "HUGE NEWS ANY MINUTE NOW, CAN'T TELL YOU ABOUT IT THOUGH" card, which people have been burnt by a lot lately (TICK TOCK motherfuckers!)

335k people are crazy enough to jump at the opportunity to push a real American to the top, though. That's encouraging as hell.

AFAICT he still hasn't fucked up, yet. Made some mistakes, but nothing bad. Hopefully he delivers on his "HUGE NEWS!!?!!!".

Interesting thing.. I noticed after donating to the latest GGWG thing that the GoFundMe team donated to it, too. $1000.

What's interesting about that is they also donated $1000 to the counter-campaign buying ladders for immigrants to hop the fence.

Can't help but wonder what our founders would think about all this.

If the 335K people all went to DC on Saturday to voice their desires we would probably have a wall on Monday.

Bring pitchforks and torches for effect.

Dude created a 501(c)4 corporation. Apparently, if you donated you either need to accept contributing the donation to the corporation, or you can get the refund.

Check the latest updates. GoFundMe is looking to undermine him and the media is helping. They went to washington, found out just how screwed they were going to get, and regrouped. They have formed a 501C and plan to build privately to ensure the money goes to building a wall and nothing else. GoFundMe will be contacting donors and giving you the option to allow your donation to go to the 501C or be refunded. The media is'nt reporting that, surprise surprise, they are reporting that it was a collapse and doing their damndest to paint it bad..

they are in southern California.............................

I was eavesdropping on a conversation last night in the Peoples Republic of Boulder. Must a been conservatives 'cause heads didn't explode when they talked about Trump. I really didn't listen too much as it's rude to eavesdrop and their convo was not very interesting. They kept coming back to corruption. Then, what seemed out of the blue, one of the ladies mentioned all the motorcycle gangs and their illicit activities and seemed to impress that it was all over the country. In my head I balked. I thought to myself, "where are all these motorcycle gangs?" and thought she was watching too much Son's of Anarchy. But now you mention this. It has me wondering. Am I the one who's misinformed? And if so, where are all these MC gangs? I'm actually seeing less and less 'hard core' clubs riding and more 'citizens'.

Those that wear colors are still around in places.
They've been out gunned by the big "crew", Government.

I got an email asking permission to allow my $50 to be used by the 501C.

Least I can do for a guy that had three of his limbs blasted off for me is to trust him with $50, so I gave permission to use my donations as the 501C sees fit.

As soon as one foot of wall goes up paid for through the 501C Ill pay another $30.

the RICO act has fuck*d them over pretty much...................

the RICO act has fuck*d them over pretty much...................

It pretty much fucks anyone they want but can't collect proper evidence for. RICO is a slap in the face of the Constitution. But that's a whole 'nother thread. And, arguably, it's somewhat done what it was designed to do. Just not an exception from corruption and overzealous/career minded prosecutors.

Down here, the real colors are called “1%ers”. The rest are all wannabe warrior weekend riders who mostly go to their jobs during the week, like dentists, doctors and manufacturing.

You speak of wanna be weekend warriors in a derisive way.

I never understood the allure of the bike gang tough guy.

You want to be in a tough guy gang go in the military.

Granted I get it many members were former military perhaps seeking that "esprit" of sorts they had in their mil units.

But why limit yourself.

When I rode I never put any support stuff on my bike but I knew people that did. Riding into different places if they didnt watch out they may find themself being in the wrong color zone.

Why put up with the BS?

I think that it has to do with the easy rider fantasy and escapism more than anything else. I don’t deride them for that or at all really. I was just being realistic.

I shoot long distance a LOT. I have been asked if I’m a sniper or think that I am. The answer is no. I make no claim to either and am simply a hobbyist that uses my hobby as an escape from daily crap plus for the camaraderie of like minded individuals. There’s probably a comparison there somewhere.

Been amongst many wannabe 1%ers.
Rode all the way from the suburbs to play hard ass.
I rode and waved at all bikers including the crotch rockets.
Didn't even have to drag my leathers around the drive way to look the part. lol

I took up shooting when the bikes went away as the kids came along.

Wasnt a facing death thing or anything like that just you cant fit kids seats on a bike. Shame is i have a sidecar I could throw on but just have been too lazy to deal with it.

I traded being motorcycle induced broke for being rifle induced broke.

When I was in Virginia I rode with “The Southern Riders”. I did not prospect them, I just went on their rides as a guest. It was a short hair, military family club with the wives riding sag wagon.
I went to their yearly jamboree with all the East Coast chapters, it it was very clear we were the non 1%er, oddball chapter. The other chapters were white-trash outlaws with women who looked tougher than the dudes.

I’m not a sniper or a MC gangster. I just like guns and bikes, no culture or conformity needed.
