Ruth Vader Ginsburg has had pancreatic and colon cancer. It would be unusual for her to have a third primary cancer. The statistics indicate she now has metastic cancer from one of her prior cancers. It is in the lungs, so it is stage 4.

However, reports are that after removal of the lobe from her lung, no more cancer was detected. So she could have a couple of years left.

Since S.Ct. is a lifetime appointment, she can lay in a nursing home unconscious for a decade and the Prez cannot appoint a replacement.

Personally, I will be surprised if the old coot does not make it to 2020.

rbg has a brain tumor. This is why she fell. Cancers that originate in the lungs typically spread to the brain. Since her brain tumor compromises her ability to serve on the Supreme Court she would be forced to retire. This is why we will never be told about the brain tumor.

rbg ,as a Cancer survivor would be monitored closely. For years 1 to 5 she would get 2 to 3 full Ct scans a year. After 5 years with no further Cancer she would be considered Cancer free. For years 5 to 10 she would get at least 1 full CT scan a year. A CT scan has the ability to see lung nodules about 1mm in size.

Lung resection: The whole lobe was removed.This indicates the size of the tumors were large infecting the whole lobe. If they were small and the lobe looked ok a thoracoscopic wedge resection would have been less invasive than a lobectomy.If she had large tumors in her lungs the Ct scans should have shown them when they were small. Since the tumor didn't show up in the last CT scan it is aggressive and fast growing.

this doesn't make sense........they reason we have an odd number of judges is for a tie breaker. if she cant show up she should be replaced.

I am betting that is happening constantly. There is no way that the WH is going to allow her to operate completely in a vacuum. There will be 'folks' checking up on her to make sure that she is 'doing fine.'

This isn't 1918 and Woodrow Wilson... no way they can keep her being operated like a Muppet with Schumer's hand up her ass... Which I am sure he would enjoy.

Keep the faith, Army. When she draws her last rasping breath, there will be an American there... to report the news! Not just a coterie of commies.

The big thing will be watching what the Republicans do if and when her seat opens. If her seat becomes vacant in 2019, the circus around Kavanaugh will look like a firecracker compared to the MOAB event that the next one will bring.

But thats only if its open in 2019. I highly doubt the repub/swamp will stand up for the Constitution if that sest becomes open in 2020. The SWAMP will allow the democrats to use the presidential election to hold off the nomination until after the election.

I truly think that will tell us all if our county is too far gone or if we csn salvage things. The 2020 election is much more important than a normal one. Our voices must be heard with our votes.
