Gunsmithing 6BR mags for Curtis Custom

I just got my CC in 6BR put together, and the ARC mags and the Magpul mags aren't going to work. One ARC mag has a MKM follower, one with a LRI follower, and a stock one. The Magpul mags drag on the bolt. The bad part is, I've got 10 days to sort this out.

Do the Primal Rights kits to be modified much?

Idk, I dont have one. I dont think they do. The PVA kit drops right into the mag body

I couldnt get arc mags to work in my axiom at all. alpha mags wouldnt work either. I ended up using unmodified aics mags with the binder plate

I use ai mags with lips filed down a little bit. No need for follower either, they feed great on the curtis action.

I’m running the BRA in an Impact. The ARC mags do not work. AICS mags kind of work. The AICS with Primal Rights and the lips modified work pretty well. Just swapped the Primal Rights over to the 12 round MDT’s. You’ll need to mod the PR follower but it looks like a winner. I didn’t have to do any mods on the lips.
BTW, the MDT’s w/o the PR kit were worthless. Worse than the ARC’s. But with the PR kit they work.

I run a Curtis Vector in 6br. AW mags with the hrd mag kit. No other mods needed. Just shot a match today actually and not a single problem.

So the PR kit works on the 12 round 6BR mags from MDT? I'm trying to get it to run with 224 Valkyrie in a Curtis Axiom.

Alright, I'm putting in the order now for the PR kit. Just need to figure out how to get that bottom plate off the MDT mag now...
