What Factory Ammo for PVA Pre-fit?

Have a 22" 6.5 creedmoor shouldered prefit barrel on order from PVA, mating up to a Bighorn Origin. Would like to order some ammo to have ready to go. Is there a go-to factory load that tends to group well?

PVA has a great relationship with Prime and I believe their chamber favors Prime’s 130 6.5 CM. Prime is moving their factory so they may be out of stock for a little. Next I would try Hornady 140 ELD-M or Federal Gold Medal (130 Berger or 140 SMK). These are all match grade ammo.

If it’s a saami spec chamber, it won’t “favor” any particular ammo. If they use a custom reamer, different story.

You’ll likely have to try a few different offerings and see which one the barrel runs better.

my 26" PVA prefit shot berger loaded 140g ammo extremely well. consistent 1/4-1/3" groups with factory ammo.

SDs were 12-14fps

plus you get lapua brass left over. which you can use if you re-load.

or turn around and sell it. i was selling my brass for $0.85/piece so effectively shooting for half the cost per round
