Prefit barrel for precision impact??

Stutville precision does some prefits and patriot valley arms does as well. I dont think they do carbon fiber prefits through
I'm pretty sure TS Customs can spin you up a barrel for an impact without actually having the action in their possession. Would that classify as a prefit?
You might try keystone. I bet you could send them a carbon proof and they would spin it up without needing your action
If you want a specialty item such as a carbon wrapped barrel, you are probably going to have to go through a gunsmith.
On the shelf prefits are great for the convenience. But you are limited to their options: generic chambers, barrel brands, contours, twists, lengths, etc.
I personally would rather develop a relationship with a good gunsmith that you trust, and that way you can get exactly what you want.
I get the barrel brands I want, in the twist rate I want, contour I want, length and finish I want, with a reamer designed for MY exact rounds I'm shooting (for ultimate precision).
Theres a few that are faster and will get you your barrel in less than a month. You just need to ask for lead times until you find the shortest one
Some gunsmiths are only 2-3 weeks out for work. You don't even have the action yet, so I don't know why you are in such a rush to get the barrel.
Why do you have to use a gunsmith in your area? I don't. Mine is many states away.
There's a couple of top tier gunsmiths that are running only 2-3 week turn around time. You will just have to get the barrel drop shipped to them, but that's not difficult at all.
I have a 6xc proof carbon coming from a guy a week after my barrel shows up to him, he will never see my action.
