AXMC Lop adjustment stuck

Just bought an AXMC 338lm used. Tried adjusting lop but it does not move. What is causing this? Read manual and loosened the screw with hex key and screwed the fastener out until it stopped. No movement. Loosened all the other adjustment screws including the hook in case there was tension of some kind. Still no movement.

Supposed to just use the thumb screw to loosen it. Maybe that metal plate is a bit stuck.
Loosen it and give it a boop on the butt.

Might try that when I get back home. Perhaps I should try using a flat screwdriver to lift/loosen the wedge?

its most likely the wedge, had one get frozen with snow/ice thumb screw moved but the wedge was stuck.
proper application of force accompanied with some foul language fixed it.

Correct! Wedge is stuck and screw came out without it. Hope a drop of red locktite on the screw will help.!

Red locktite did the trick
