so a pencil barrel or other barrels are not covered ?
"The guns would have to be returned", what kind of bulllshit is that? I cannot even fathom the logic used to determine that the rifles bought before 10/01/13 (and I an pretty sure that is supposed to be "before" and not "after") are somehow different than those bought after that date. Could that date be due to some kind of state wide registration that happened after 10/01/13?
there shouldn't be any pencils out there, it's been hbar only for years. now that they've specifically allowed them (hbars), they want to take them back. what a crock of you know what. i think baltimore had/has the highest crime rate or close, seems the worst states crime-wise have the most unconstitutional gun laws.
This is why every semiautomatic rifle or pistol that can be built from an 80% lower and a parts kit should be built from one...

Even those of us with traceable AR's or Glocks would find it to advantage to have a few off the books builds laying around as a backup insurance policy.

I sold all my guns. Private sale. All of them. To another VA resident. Don't remember when. No documentation necessary.
Hoping the federal private sale ban doesn't deadline that for me, though. I have about 18 goddamn purchased firearms to my name, only four of which I currently own.
There are so many levels of the AR-15 insanity. Short version is after 10/1/13 any new rifle had to be HBAR to be legal. If you built it on a stripped lower, it is registered so they know about it. Now they want to go back and saw anything from 10/1/13 to now is actually illegal and you have to turn them in.
They want to ban POSSESSION of home manufactured firearms so no more 80% for you good citizen..
They want to regulate transfers of C&R firearms and create a registry of them
They want to outlaw face to face sales of long guns and shotguns, require a long gun qualification license for purchase which comes with a ~$100 price tag and 4 hours of training and create a registry of all long guns transferred after 10/1/19
There were 19 bills up for debate today in committee in our House of Delegates. Thankfully, gun owners showed up. It is now 5pm here and so far they have only gotten through 2 of the bills in the committee.

I also forgot to mention there is a bill on the table to get rid of the handgun permit review board... again short version is that you have to have a "Good and Substantial" reason to be granted a concealed carry permit. and no baltimores body count is not considered good and substantial. the state police review and decide to grant or not grant. good citizen can then appeal to a civilian review panel appointed by the governor. lately, there have been too many appeals granted and denials overturned for the dem's liking. they are holding up 3 appointments to the committee and trying to disband it all together.

Fuck Maryland, got pulled over by a state trooper, asked me if I was carrying,,, had Fla plates,,, approached my car with hand on pistol while it was in holster,,,, fuck that state and that cop. I hope it burns to the ground when trump gets re elected.
Hmm. Did not know there was a rally. Those dbags at mdshooters banned me (which includes viewing the forum) for saying peaceful protest gain nothing and the protestors should have forcefully resisted the illegal arrests at the last protest.
But seriously. A riot would get more done than a bunch of straight edge Ned Flanders types holding signs. They laugh at us.
