I've always wondered if anyone actually wins these giveaway contests like the monthly Aero, grab-a-gun,etc. You know the emails we get all the time asking to sign up for the newsletter gets you so many entries, yada,yada,yada. Anyone here ever win one or are these a marketing scam?

That's good to hear at least someone has. I gave up entering as I thought it was all a marketing ploy.
I told my wife I won a PlayStation 4 several years back. I didn't... I bought it. ?. But it was easier to to explain as dumb luck.
i won a bill for 1.5mill if that counts it was from a hospital happy to accept since i should have been dead , not that i could ever pay just happy to get to live a little longer.
In 2011 I won the Bass Pro NASCAR giveaway. I had to drive myself from Flagstaff,AZ to Las Vegas, NV. Once I got there everything was covered. I was a broke college student at the time so it was a VERY cool experience. Full VIP access and some of the best food I had eaten in a while.
