In the process of setting up a couple of long range rifles but will shooting a good bit at my hunting club where the rifles will be left unattended at times while I’m hunting. Other than going through my current insurance company are there any companies that offer affordable insurance against theft from my car? Looks like the NRA offers a policy but any other insurance advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I did and saw little other than some negative feedback on the NRA policy which is what I was primarily interested in learning about. Seems odd that the NRA would offer less than stellar insurance and was hoping for additional feedback. Will continue searching archives hear and elsewhere. Thanks!

Unattended as in I left it on the table to walk down range? Or unattended as in storage at your club?

While Sean Penn will disagree, IMHO there is never a good reason to leave weapons unattended in vehicles.

Under a towel and within eyesight at 7-11 - while armed. Gas station - I pay cash at the pump.
No - I do not leave weapons unattended and generally think that is irresponsible and can be planned around.
On a public range - I sling it, and walk down to check targets.
It isn't about the money or the loss, it is about allowing that weapon into hands of someone that would be willing to steal it. It is my responsibility to safeguard the public (and myself) from that.

I use Historic firearms Insurance , Price is reasonable. My home owners would not even cover one of my AI'S with a scope on it.
I do not leave my firearms in car at motel etc.
I know some ranges do not permit carrying firearms to check targets.
Locked in vehicle out of sight while going to restroom etc is not undue risk in the environment I am in.

Will look into quotes from Eastern / Historic and Sportsman. I've always left firearms locked in my vehicle at the hunting club while hunting, cutting trails, etc just not VERY high priced ones and want a little piece of mind since its a very convenient place to shoot long range. Thanks again!
