Is the 6 dasher still relevant?

No way in heck that's gonna happen. Barrel life is pretty predictable based on powder quantity and bore diameter. Bigger cases are going to have less barrel life and the 6GT is going to have less barrel life than the Dasher. You could probably make it close to a net wash if you ran the 6GT at Dasher speeds.

Never said it was going to happen, and mentioned the math behind why I thought it was unlikely in the other 6mm GT thread. I was just saying if the claims are somehow magically true, then I'd make the switch.

My friends 6XC get like 2000-2200 rounds. My creedmoor get like 1600. Very similar case capacity. I think there’s something to be said about the long BR neck for keeping some of that flame/jet in the case a little longer.
