Hate to be 'that guy', but...

Disappointed that the officer had to go to Walmart to buy a shovel.

1. What kind of a man doesn't have 20 shovels at his house that he has NO idea where they came from?!

2. While I've never looked at Walmart's shovel selection, I can't imagine you can buy a very good one there... So now the one shovel he owns is likely a Chinese piece of shit. It's a miracle the cat got buried at all!

I've been told I'm cynical... Can you believe that?!

A typical example of a craft-made anti-materiel rifle from Idlib It has a newly made milled receiver and uses a DSHK barrel. Interesting that there are two mounts: dove tail and picatinny rail. It also uses parts from other guns: such as an AK pistol grip and a PK carry handle.

Many years ago I was watching a very similar show from the balcony of our house on the Air Force base in Darwin, Australia. The house had a metal roof, steel frame and was elevated on numerous steel poles. Went into the kitchen to get another drink and the house was struck by lightning, power went out but the scary part was a ball of lightning appeared from the kitchen sink and started approaching me. I vacated rapidly and went to the downstairs bar for several drinks.

WW2 101st airborne brothers reunited

That is Vince Speranza on the left, an authentic Living Legend. He shows up at Snowbird and national 101st Airborne Division Association and other reunions regularly. At least once in an evening, he will have a herd of young, active duty Paratroopers around him singing "Gory, Gory". He also makes an annual pilgrimage to Bastogne, Belgium, where he was with the 506th PIR, during the Battle of the Bulge. Quite a man, and honored to have shaken his hand, and call him friend.
His book "Nuts" is at Amazon.com.
If you travel to Bastogne, you will find a small bar that serves beer in a souvenir mug, shaped like a WW2 GI helmet. He inspired the creation, based on an act of pure humanity he did during the Siege of Bastogne.
Attached are images of PFC & Mrs Carrington, who may have passed by now, and Vince at the reunion at Nashville. My bride is the lovely lady next to me.
