LOL! Yeah, in the city AJ pretty much nailed it. I'd much rather have to go to Fort Worth or Irving if I had a choice.
I'm down north of Austin. AJ's over there closer to where they make fuel and the mosquitos drain you. Not sure where @spife7980 is. @SkyScrapin lives in Dallas but travels a good bit. @kthomas over in H-Town. I could go on - quite a few Texans floating around the forums!

I'm only a few miles straight south from the airport. I guess the hotel is technically in Ft. Worth.

JMG and I are used to Wyoming. We could open carry forever and now have permit less concealed carry. Other than methheads shooting each other, we don’t have much crime.

Unfortunately with my work schedule, I won't be able to make a meet up during the week. If it was on a weekend I'd probably be able to meet up.
The DFW area does have lots of good places to eat, that's pretty much the main thing people do for fun around here.
about 10 minutes to the west of DFW airport there is a really nice Brazilian style meat place which is in my opinion a much better value than the many steak houses. They also have an amazing salad bar.

Well your down by Austin right? I bet there is a plethora of stuff you wouldn't want to admit that was found on Craigslist down there.
Next time you’re in town and have some time bring a rifle. I’m 10 minutes from the airport and spent the day at TripleC Range, about 40 minutes south. Lots of steel from 300 out to 2000 and everything in between.
Dallas Ft Worth is a pretty nice place. Plenty to do and see and eat. Enjoy your stay.

I really don't buy things from there - ever. I'm sure there's plenty of stuff on there that does not deserve a new home!
