The narrative the Left has been promoting, which has been aided and abetted by the corrupt legacy media, is that President Donald Trump is ‘destroying NATO’. He allegedly has been doing this by attempting to jawbone the leaders of NATO member countries to pay what they agreed to pay for their own defense. The United States currently pays approximately 70% of military expenditures in the alliance. The EU trading area is the largest economic force in the world.
Germany, the largest and most dynamic economy on The Continent, pays just a paltry 1.2% of its GDP on its military. This is while Germany is finalizing plans to further link the German economy to cheap Russian natural gas via the Nord Stream II pipeline under the Baltic Sea and destroy its energy security forever. It is reported Germany has barely a dozen combat aircraft that can actually fly.
This has infuriated POTUS and he has said so many time publicly. Apparently this is taboo in the double speak media that only wants to bring down our president and doesn’t give a damn about American national security. No, they only want power, and they don’t care how they get it.

Who intentionally let in over one million Middle Eastern migrants into Germany and pushed the same on other member nations of the alliance? Who has irreparably destroyed European culture and security by her actions in this manner? Angela Merkel of course. Thousands of ISIS fighters have used the migration to embed themselves in Western European society, forever cementing the terrorist threat in the alliance.
Who was also born, raised and educated in a tyrannical, communist country (East Germany) under the boot of Russia? Who is best buddies with Russian President Vladimir Putin?

If I was a conspiracy theorist, I would say that a German leader who was raised by the East German communist secret police, who leads Germany to spend nothing on its own defense, who cements energy dependence on Russian gas, who destroys her own countries culture and security, and who is best friends with the former Soviet KGB leader of Russia…just might be a greater risk to the NATO alliance than The Donald?
