I got to go play in the woods today. Gorgeous day! Sunny and 70 degrees with a little breeze. Sat along the River and ate a great ribeye. Nice walk in the woods. And rode some trails with my Pinzgauer. Either you get it or you don’t.

@ArmyJerry, Someone has to have a glass half full and offset your correct and often less than joyful posts...... try tossing in some rainbows and unicorns and shit. Might lighten the mood a bit.
Even though we buy guns, ammo, equipment, food, more ammo, and train to be prepared and tough, sometimes we just want to enjoy a little peace (or piece). there is a lot of good in this world, some just get out and take it in.

I find my greatest peace in the woods. That part of my property is three miles from the nearest road. Cell phone doesn’t work. And we only saw two other people all day (in a passing boat). Been going there for 45 years.
The fella in the pic is my best friend. We’ve known each other for 50 plus years.
With a friend for that long you are a very blessed man.
