The entire student loan "crisis" is 100% on the shoulders of the idiot politicians that created the worst post predatory loan system possible, regulated and backed by the government. Of course the Democrats want to say it's somebody else's fault.
If Trump wanted to really blow the minds of the democrats what he should do is say that the entire student loan system constitutes an "Unconscionable Contract" and say it's all going to be reset to loans based on the federal reserve interest rates & if you pay off early you don't pay interest as if you were keeping the loan the whole time (just like every other non mob loan pretty much).

Here's a real life story.
Before I married my ex-wife,I lived with her for four years.
I also paid for two of her daughters college,one was at the University of Tennessee (PHD), the other was at George Mason university ((attorney-debater)
Their senior year me and their mother got married.
I came home early from work one day and noticed an official looking letter,so I opened it.
I thought I knew my bride, I was nothing but a cash cow.
The letter was a statement for a parent/student loan that totaled almost 400k,SERIOUSLY.
What I found ironic was she thought that I was somehow going to be responsible for these loans since we were married.
Yeah,the judge explained that to her.
Of course she is upset over this ‘crisis’.

It's too bad the young studs all raging to get married are physically/emotionally/hormonally unable to listen to experience and as such get to live the painful learning experience fresh each time.
Well, then I am the 'exception' that proves the rule??? Met my soul mate when I was 16 and she was 15...Dated for 4 years and were married when I was 20, she 19...We were together for 53 years counting those 4 years dating... She passed away from cancer after a heroic struggle. Her last words to me were, "I love you so much." I was/am devastated. She took such good care of me, even when I was being an ass hole and through some VERY tough times due to my bad decisions...Not that she ever let me get away with sh*t, she was a very, very strong, beautiful woman...I was/am a very, very lucky man! SHE, deserved so much better...JSNS BTW, I understand 'marriage' is NOT the in thing for young people now...
My second wife should have been my first,she was the first woman that I ever kissed.
We're still going strong, I've known her since I was 14
