Went to size some of my hornady 6.5 cm brass and bump the shoulder back .002". Brass is once fired with a cbts measurement of 1.501". Started with the .010" shell holder and screwed the die in until it made contact with the shell holder. With the .010 shell holder, i ran a lubed case into the die then measured the cartridge base to shoulder. The shoulder actually went from 1.501 inches to 1.504. I sorta expected this. Then started stepping down. I then inserted the .008 shell holder and no bump. Then the 0.006 no bump. I noticed as i got to .006 and inspected and measured the case i noticed it collapsed below the shoulder. That is when i stopped.
Idk what I am doing wrong at this point. Any help would be great. Thanks
