Between 4 different types of AI patterns mags, DT mags, 308 AR mags, and other random long action stuff, I have mags all over the place.

I’m leaning toward just grabbing several med size Tupperware type containers and using them. Anyone have a better way they want to share?

I leave certain mags in certain rifle bags. So when I grab my DT, it goes into this bag and all the mags are in there. I grab this one bag from Cabela's that's my AR bag and has all my Grendel mags, etc etc.. so far it has worked fine. I always have my mags and my bags.. just don't forget ammo

If you really want to get fancy and have some time to burn.
Get one of the Planno boxes, they look like a small foot locker and come in two sizes I have a couple of each I keep packed with ultralight camping gear and are packed accordingly for seasonal excursions.
Get the smaller one and some sheets of closed cell foam.
Cut a piece the dimension of the bottom for a base pad and then 2 or 3 more sheets that will make up the first layer.
Lay out your mags on a sheet to get a pattern for cut outs by mag type in a row so they will fit base plate up and cutout your layers.
Just at a guess you should easily be able to make 5 rows of five in the bottom and lay down a second base pad on that and repeat.
Don't know if you have that many magazines but it would be an excellent storage solution and look pretty slick if done right.
And of course a more expensive route would be an appropriate sized pelican case done the same way.

I guess this depends on how many mags you have.. I have ammo cans for each caliber of ammo we have. since I only have a couple 10/22 mags they get tossed in with the .22lr ammo can. done deal.. easie peasie..

for our AR15's is more complicated since we have 5.56 and .300 black. To ensure there is never a cross over between them 5.56 goes in PMAGS and .300 black goes in Hex mags. Loaded mags are kept in mag pouches on a vest set up and with the gun itself in it's bag. (VooDoo Tactical Styled Bag) All empties are kept sorted in drawers in the dresser cabinet thing.

If you have a ton of mags a cabinets with several shelves or drawers works amazing.. if you only have a couple just keep them with the gun or the ammo can works great..

Get one of these and fill the nooks and crannies between the loaded ammo and brass....

....and be sure to save enough money for the labelmaker to label each mag.
