Im trying to decide between a Tl3 and an Impact action and really I think its coming down to the ejection. My last action was a kelbly tactical and I loved how I could slowly manipulate the bolt and just flip the spent round into my hand. I also feel like a mechanical ejection is more robust.

Is there something else I'm not considering between the two actions? I like the option of pre shouldered barrels and would likely have a 6 creed steel barrel spun up and a 6.5 prc proof for hunting type setup.

Any recommendations?

What's making you want to switch from the Kelbly's Tactical? I love my TL3, but my buddy's Kelbly's feels smoother and has a nicer bolt lift imo. I do like the "bayonet" firing pin assembly of the TL3 and the swap-able bolt heads, but I don't swap calibers so I haven't really taken advantage of that feature.

Extractor≠ ejector

Extractor... extracts the case out of the chamber.
Ejector... ejects the case out of the action.

Bighorn extractor is a savage style sliding extractor (works much better than the savage implementation though).
Impact uses the m16 extractor that pivots instead of slides.
Both pull the case out of the chamber.

Bighorn ejection distance is directly proportion to how fast you pull the bolt back, slow will drop it, fast will sling it. Wont push the case out until the end of the bolts travel.
Impact ejection will flip it out the same distance each time since its spring loaded, as soon as it clears the port its already pushing the case out.
Both will push a case out of the action.

Both can have prefit shouldered barrels in exactly the same manner.

I was putting money down for a house so had to sell off some things :/ I loved that action though, but was looking for something where I could swap barrels a bit easier.
