Pretty happy with my 1,000 benchrest competition yesterday. Scored highest score (49) and smallest five shot group (7.215 inches).
Second match I shot a score of 44 and an 11 inch group. Wind was gusting up and down more during the second match than the first.
Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor, factory trigger, SilencerCo Omega suppressor, Vortex Razor HD Gen II 4.5-27x56mm, Atlas bipod, MagPul stock because the factory stock snags too many beard hairs.
Lapua brass, BR4 small primers, H4350, Hornaday 140gr ELD-M, 2800 FPS, 3.1 Standard Deviation.
Next 1,000 yd BR match at Thunder Valley Precision will be June 15th.
