Bought my MWS a few months ago and since then I've been having sporadic double feeds. It was happening almost every other round for the first few mags. Since then I've put about 200 rounds through it with 8-10 double feeds and shot 80 rounds today which resulted in 2 double feeds. Anybody had similar issues or have any input on what the problem could be? I love the rifle otherwise but I was not expecting this out of a $3k rifle.

Have any pics of the malfunction, double feeds are usually mags, was it feeding two live rounds or was it one live and one expended case?
Was the rifle supressed?

Short term give LMT a call and they will get you taken care of, LMT has had alot of growth in the past few years as the result of their weapons gaining allied adoption, as well moving out of Illinois, LMT's QC has taken a hit.

Gotcha. It was feeding two live rounds but I have also had failures to extract. However those were only happening with hornady brass. I’ve been using federal brass and have not had any FTEs with that.
Not running a suppressor and it’s the factory 16” barrel that came with the rifle. Haven’t made any internal changes. I’ve been using the magpul 20 round mag that came with the gun and used a couple other magpul mags. Haven’t used any other brands but I’ll try to pick some up and try running those. Shot them an email and I’ve been going back and forth with some of their technical staff this morning.
