Rem 700 Internal Box mag question

I’ve noticed a sharp edge on the steel internal mag. This is the surface that each round is pushed over when the bolt is cycled. Has anyone else seen or dealt with this? I have thought about taking an abrasive cloth or a round file to break the sharp edge, but I don’t want to create a new problem either.

Yes, at the front where the rounds feed over it.

You should be okay rounding off the sharp edge. Don't get carried away though.
