I just had a long talk with my six year old that it’s Independence Day, not the 4th of July (holiday name). We celebrate Independence Day on The 4th of July. Gave her a run down on George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and King George, and why the Revolutionary War began. And all the greatness that came from it. And also how it shouldn’t have happened, and couldn’t have happened without the hand of god.
We have had that conversation for the last week or so.
The kids have decided and that too many taxes are dumb.
