I’ll write more about the A10 once I’ve shot a match or two with it.

Since the grip is about the biggest selling point, here’s a couple quick pics comparing it to the Kmw Sentinel which also has a very good grip for people with small hands or short fingers.

In short (aha), the kmw grip sits about 1/4-1/2” closer to the trigger itself. If I remember correctly, this was done to allow for better gloved shooting, but it makes the sentinel awesome for small hands.

The A10 grip is a bit more vertical and also allows for the thumb to sit on top of the grip.

So, both are pretty close to the trigger guard. A10 is a bit more vertical and allows thumb on top. Sentinel is a little more angled and also has a thumbhole for pistol grip option.

Pictures were taken with the triggers lined up and then with the grips line up. So you can see the differences.

A6 is same as A5. About an inch further away from the grip than the A10.

The A10 isn’t bad, but it’s not as close as they make it sound. Sentinel is still a better option for small hands.

My sentinel does fit me really well. I'm getting a rifle built by Kelbly's, I asked them to set the action 1/2" closer to the grip so the trigger reach wont be as far. Looks like it will still be a little farther away than the Sentinel.

Yea, McMillan said they moved the grip 1/2” closer and the action 1/2” back. So about an inch closer in total.

So, if you are moving an A6 back 1/2, I’d expect it to be around 3/4” or further away than sentinel.

Here is a couple pics showing my grip on each. The sentinel clearly gets me in a better position than the A10. Though everyone is different.

The Sentinel is really comfortable. I wish there was another version with a longer forend, and with that step in front of the magwell removed. Thumb shelf, and an option to install a McMillan 3 way adj butt would be nice too.

I didn’t think the step would be any good. But I’m finding that it sits nicely on bags. Balances much better than I expected. But would be nice to see an option with a completely flat forend.

I haven’t used my sentinel for awhile, may end up selling it. But it’s an awesome stock and I do wish there was a flat forend version available.
