Too complicated to try and solve with text. Hoping someone by phone will go through settings with me for a new weapon and compare results. Drop is showing almost twice what it really is! Been over it again and again.

Environmental data will affect your dope but not twice the true drop it should be. Are you imputting the correct muzzle velocity and using the correct BC for your bullet? Have you trippled checked your screws on your action, scope rings and pic rail? Are you using a good scope vs a walmart scope? Are you absolutely sure you are holding/dailing correctly?
Give us some imput to go off of... gun and scope data... it wont always be your data from the device thats messed up.
Give me your gun data and ill put it into my kestrel and see if it lines up with yours.

Check your click values. Do you have other rifles in the software and if so is the data right for them?
Don’t use Strelok but if you can input an inclination angle up or down for your shot using the software make sure it is set to zero.
Ditto if there is an input for Cant (rifle tilt left or right) angle.

I am guessing you mean 0900 AM central so will not bother you till you are up and around. My phone is in the car charging at the moment since I am on a long road trip, I will give you the particulars now so you can get a head start on MOST entries. Weapon is a .408 Cheytac wildcat throwing a 421.5 g solid at 3030. BC is .950. Zeroed at 100 I am already WAY off at 500. True MOA drop if my clicks are good at .025 is 5 MOA. Software showed multiple times of that if I remember correctly, Altitude may be 800 and temp of 90 there is a slight angle but it matters not for this huge decsrepcency. 15 twist, 36 inch barrel, rh twist. Scope is USO SN-9 first focal plane 10-42 powerthat I had at .025 clicks MOA but had to remount it at the trial site after rebuilding the gun completely from 65 lbs to 26 or so. Call me when you get up and I will get the phone and go through it page by page. Is driving me batty because to have drop off that far you would have to have the speed at about half, the distance doubled, a bc of 1/3 or so and so on. Must be a harder to find problem like missing decimal place. I am sure I will be embarrassed to find it but look forward to it. thank you. Randy 804-690 6868 thank you.
VaRandy, your clicks are likely 0.25 MOA and not 0.025 MOA. This would introduce an error factor of 10x in your calculations.
Got it! Sorry, I took your post to mean the click values being right on the scope as he dialed... As in checking the scope via a tall target tracking test.
My comment was more of a garbage in/garbage out input to the software. In any case, he should probably be checking both things!
Which Strelok? Basic, Plus, Pro?...Make sure you go through all the setting and inputs for the specific rifle:
- Zero Distance 100 vs something else
- Scope Height???
- Scope Values MOA .25 or .125 vs MRAD .1 or .2
- Rifle: Twist
- Scope Click Adjustments Offset Inputs
- Cartridge: Muzzle Velocity and Temp
- Check Environmental Inputs
