So for the record AND if I understand the materials correctly: 7 ga steel might be the same as 3/16". Same material description as used in a Sturdy Safe (3/16") and the higher end Liberty Safe (7ga)....Well guess those are both RSC's to be technically correct.
Yes, for the $$$$ Sturdy Safe tends to drive additional material options over Liberty. I do like that part about their product line.
Yes, I found the suggestions for using Craigslist to locate other TL30 rated "safes" or other ratings for a better $$$$ for product. Just need to find the right size for my applications.
I already learned there's multiple ratings that apply to various UL testing, fire testing protocols...etc etc etc....
From others I did learn a quite few things....from some it's the typical mentality of "nothing is better than mine".
