My Grandson with an "almost" vintage sniper rifle. Silly Army wont let him bring it home but he did get to try it. When he gets home I'll be able to talk to him about its results and his thoughts.

What I don't understand is why (Added: if they won't give it to him) the Army wont at least put that in storage for future use. That way other soldiers can understand it’s capabilities too!

FWIW, yeah there are a lot people in the Army who think civilians shouldnt have guns. Throughout the last 25 years or so certain members of congress have had to adminish senior Army leaders for NOT allowing brass and unused/timed out ammunition from being auctioned off to the public.
