He did not lose the whole fight. He gained the leverage he wanted in the long run, same thing the left wants more of now.
I thought he won it. While he did not pack the court he did intimidate them enough to allow his socialist agenda to go thru.
The illusion that the Supreme Court is not a total Communist Kangaroo court like most of the rest of them is probably one of the few things keeping CWII from going hot.
If you look at it with an open mind, they are right, it is politicized. The Prez appoints who he wants and he appoints ones that lean the way he leans.
