Remembering reading about this on an aviation site.
I recall it was the fly out at Osh Kosh.
The pilot of the Grumman is supposed to have a ground guide.
The prop on it and planes lik the Corsair is so huge that the plane was designed with the pilot seeing nothing but fowl when taxiing.
Planes were in line waiting for take off and the Warbird pilot didn't realize the private plane hadn't rolled forward.
Don't recall if anyone was killed/hurt.
I've been up close to one of those Grummans, there huge.
