Finally got everything set up and torqued where I want it. Went today and shot these groups. 2 sighters then a 5 shot group federal Gold medal match 168gr Sierra match king. Then switched to hornady match 168gr bthp for next two groups. The group that looks like 4 shots is 5 shots. I can't seem to find the 5th shot in that group. Then a 9 shot rapid fire group. There were 2 to 5 minutes between every shot except the 9 shot group. That 9 shot group was about 5 to 15 seconds between each shot.

I ordered a hmr in 308 from a distributor while they had it on sale, got it in, tore it down and bedded it, lapped everything, then added a seekins scope rail, leupold prs steel rings, and a leupold vx5hd, with magtech m80 ball ammo I was getting sub moa groups at 100 and 300, Making repeatable hits at 1000. Just now starting to work up a few different loads to see what it likes best.

I'm just as happy with mine. Got mine in the 6.5 though. First image is during load development (this was my second time ever shooting it and had less than 20 handloaded rds through it, super easy to find a load). I went with the top load at 2.190 to ogive with 41.5 grains of h4350. Second image is what it gave me at 440 yds/400m. I wish I had more than 3 left, I only loaded 10 at that depth (top group should be a 7shot group, not 6). Congrats on the smart purchase with the HMR pro!

Let me know what loads you come up with. I'm going to be starting reloading in the near future.

What was your best load?
