For the guys who have both, Is the reticle in the lower powered Razor gen 2 thicker than in the higher powered model? Vortex uses a thicker reticle in the 3-15x44 pst gen ii (.05 mil) vs a thinner reticle in the 5-25 (.03 mil) and I was wondering if this would be the case with the Razor.

I much prefer a thicker reticle than what is in the 4.5-27 razor and would swap in a heartbeat.

The subtension drawings on the Vortex website shows the 3-18 having the same as the 4.5-27, seems crazy too me but that's what it says.

I can't tell a difference in the reticle between the two, when I put them on the same mag power they look identical. If you are looking for a thicker reticle check out the Leupold MK 5. They both appear the same a t lower power but turned up the MK 5 seems thicker to me and they both have great glass.

I am in the opposite boat as you. I was just getting on this forum to post abt vortex reticle thickness. I have all NF scopes(ATACR and NXS) all with the MOAR-T reticle and I want a similar vortex for my Vudoo 22. I am currently running a NF on it but the parallax setting on it only goes down to 50 yards. The Razor is 32 and the PST Gen II is 25. I am thinking the EBR-4 may be the best reticle for me but the RAzor doesn’t offer that.

I seen that but thought it could be a mistake. It looks like it is not as @FN-Whitney confirmed that they are the same. Makes no sense to me why Vortex would do right with the PST line but not the Vortex.

Thanks guys
