I just got two ATACR 7-35 F1s and my first one had zero issue setting at all. I removed the indicator cap, then loosened the 4 clutch screws. You're normally supposed to turn the upper clutch until it makes contact with the lower clutch by rotating clockwise. On my first scope it was no issue at all and I got them contacting, backed it off just a bit, and tightened everything back down...good to go.
On my second one the upper clutch stops rotation a full 360 degree revolution above the lower clutch stop (there is no engagement at all). I didn't want to apply excess pressure to try and get it to turn that extra full rev since the first scope was smooth as butter. Am I missing something here or will this one have to take a trip to Nightforce?
Note: that upper clutch will only turn about 1/4 revolution in either direction before it meets resistance and cannot be turned any further. If I tighten everything back down I can make full revolutions with the turret, but that upper clutch won't move to set my zero stop on this scope.
