Just wondering if anybody else on the forum has had problems with Hornady 300 Norma brass? I've tried resizing the brass the first time and the shoulders are denting with hardly any case lube, then you try the next piece with no lube and you have a stuck case! I'm definitely not over lubing the cases and I've tried 2 different types of wax lube and hornady and RCBS spray lube with the same result. I also ran several pieces of Lapua brass with the same amount or more of lube with NO problem. What is it with the Horanady Brass that is making the shoulder dent? Or is it just terrible brass?

Yes, both once fired and all the hornady brass had at least a slight dent in the shoulder. Even tried another set of dies with the same result.

I didn't lube the shoulder, only lubed the bottom 1/3 of the case and I did re-clean the die after the first shoulder came out dented and it didn't help.

Hmmm??? Well, it still looks like either too much lube or somehow the lube is working it's way onto the shoulder; some kind of soft material that can't be compressed is getting onto the shoulder causing that kind of dent, so . . . ???

Just went a resized 15 lapua cases with no problem and only the bottom 1/3 of the case lubed, I did the last 2 Hornady cases DRY and both came out with a shoulder dent!! Hornady brass is shit as far as I'm concerned!!
