Turkey again

Turkey isn't holding anything hostage. We can pull them if we wanted. The comment in question was made by someone speaking figuratively: if the U.S. pulls its nukes, then it politically it'd be interpreted as the end of the US-Turkey "alliance". Leaving them there is also dangerous if the region continues to deteriorate.

+1

Some of you people are both gullible and ignorant in the extreme.

Don’t believe every sensational headline you read on the internet.

Those B-61s might be at Incirlik, but they are FIRMLY under US control and in no way “hostage”.

This should probably be the impetus to get them the F out, though...

Now I'll admit my data is dated..........by alot. I was under the impression that the intermediate range missiles were removed a long time ago. Tridents IIRC. But wtf do I know, I'm pretty much drunk at this point. At any rate fuck the Turks.

FYI, Tridents are intercontinental ballistic missiles riding in submarines, not land-based intermediate range missiles

Obama’s attempted coup against Erdogan likely pissed him off. If your gonna coup, don’t fail.
Indeed Erdogan survived the coup by the skin of his teeth ,hit team missed him by couple of minutes thanks to call from Vlad .

This is where US lost Turkey as an even remotely reliable ally.

But about the nukes i would be supprised if they have not been flown of the base over past couple of years why would anyone think its smart to have them there ever since Syria shitshow or later the Turk coup is beyond me.

The Negotiator wins again

I'm sure the new ceasefire has nothing to do with the fact we just announced 20,000 more troops to participate in Defender Europe just north of turkey including a good chunk of the 18th airborne core and 3rd core.... With the 82nd making an appearance in Georgia to their east lol

Are you being serius , you can play out how many Defenders of Europe or Reforgers you want and Turks will barely notice let alone give a damn. Just north of Turkey as you put it might as well be on another planet .

Hi,

It's the responsibility of the United States to ensure that Kurdish fighters withdraw in the 120-hour window, says @RTErdogan
Doesn't sound like the "agreement" is there to restructure Turkish thoughts...just things the USA are "Required" to be doing.

Rakaya Idlib hit by a vacuum bomb from a Russian warplane.

Sounds to me like Turkey gets their buffer either way. Right now the Kurds can withdraw and live or stay and die.

Russia gets Syria (which was theirs before we started all the shit in first place).

The USA gets to watch as other people fight and die for awhile.

Sounds good to me.

Russia knows how to suck the life out of them. Total War. As long as they don’t kill Turks or US soldiers, they can have at it.

If Congress wants war let them declare it. Then if Trump chooses to fight, let him fight “totalwar” and be done with it.

Its my speculation yes...I dont think Turkey will just change at the drop of a press release...but I find it interesting that it looks like a good chunk of the Abrams, bradley and paladin inventory will be conveniently brought into Europe under the guise of war games. First time I have ever heard of the army since 2003 pulling abrams from storage in mass. The headquarters for both cores and their subordinate divisions look like they are deploying as well not just the battalions that will be participating in the games. It would be pretty easy to deploy the rest of the divisions stateside elements to Europe overnight if needed since most of the heavy vehicles will already be in place. Speculation though

The games in Europe are show of force for the former Warsaw pact now ,Nato members that are shiting their pants over non existing threat of Russian invasion. Turks don't care much about any of these games , if this would aimed at Turkey it would take place ither in Greece or Cyprus.

Not that far of the mark.Only mayor change is Bordello has 30% discount since 2014

You missed part of it.

Belarus, is the actual bordello.
Turkish Airlines does lots of flights there specifically to cater to the folks that want to "Partake"
(Inlaw of mine happened to work for Turkish Airlines and was stationed there because as a non-muslim he drew the short straw on postings automatically).

Maybe on the Bordello part as the 'sexpats' ( sex tourists : not an adventurous bunch, after all mostly older sexual predators — whether seeking a wife or a girlfriend — now prefer to book holidays in a cheap, friendly, safe country like Thailand ), are a bit turned of by war , but Ukraine is at present a no.1 destination for Arab and Turk men to pick up 'trophy' wives not just one night entertainment , coastal cities are literaly filled with them flip flop jihadis in the summer all there for pussy and since 2014 volume increased dramaticaly things have become much cheaper and there is lack of competition from French plumbers ,German shoe salesmen and US truckers so now the not so well monied jihadis stand much better chance of a score.

Of course the tiny jihadi brain is always under influence of local lore and TV shows like 'Magical Century' about Sultan and his slavic harem wifes , so at least in small part he feels he is reinacting some sort of Otoman conquest of a blonde trophy.

Back to the subject ,time will come when these jihadis ,Turks now running in Syria will need to be eradicated like ISIS

Irony that these were all John McCains BFFs

US Has Backed 21 of the 28 ‘Crazy’ Militias Leading Turkey’s Brutal Invasion of Northern Syria

'' “Out of the 28 factions [in the Turkish mercenary force], 21 were previously supported by the United States, three of them via the Pentagon’s program to combat DAESH. Eighteen of these factions were supplied by the CIA via the MOM Operations Room in Turkey, a joint intelligence operation room of the ‘Friends of Syria’ to support the armed opposition. Fourteen factions of the 28 were also recipients of the U.S.-supplied TOW anti-tank guided missiles.”

In other words, virtually the entire apparatus of insurgents arrayed against President Bashar al-Assad’s regime — and armed and equipped under the Obama administration — has been repurposed by the Turkish military to serve as the spearhead of its brutal invasion of northern Syria. The leader of this force is Salim Idriss, now the “defense minister” of Syria’s Turkish-backed “interim government.” He’s the same figure who hosted John McCain when the late senator made his infamous 2013 incursion into Syria. The “sickening horror” this collection of extremists is carrying out against Kurds is, in fact, the same one it imposed on Syrians across the country for the past seven years. Before, when their goal was regime change in Damascus, they had the blessing and wholehearted support of official Washington. But now that they are slaughtering members of a much more loyal U.S. proxy force, their former patrons and enablers are rushing to denounce them as “bandits and pirates.”

I need a travel agent. I want to start in Real Blondes. Then onto Sexy Chicks then finishing in the Bordello.

Anyone know a good agent?
Skip the ''real blondes'' , Finns always knew they best poach the blondes from their gay neighbours to the west ,local stock is hard to score, any 'entertainment' you migth find in Finland will these days be east european imports , so start at the source Skoda land move on to Gulash land , on to Bordello and finish in Sexy Chicks if you ever make it that far.
