Depends what you want. I have the Razor 11-33x50 and it's fantastic for a small rig that you pack away on hikes or when size/weight are a concern. It won't compete with higher-magnification models for resolving small details at long distance, but those would be horrible to try to do much traveling with.
I have no experience with the viper hs model in comparison to the razor optically, but I've kind of gotten away from buying non-razor vortex optics just due to the mediocre value and sometimes poor quality you see from them. That's more related to rifle scopes than spotting scopes though.
