Prices are all over the map on the spotting scope.

I have a coupon for 50% off any Bushnell product.

This one caught my eye because of the adaptability and the fact it has rails built into it.

They're awesome spotters. Bear in mind, the rails aren't included on the LMSS, though.

I used mine for two years at PRS matches. Fantastic spotting scope, great build quality, very durable. I have enjoyed my Bushnell Forge 10x binos more recently, less eye fatigue. But the spotter was better on the 700-1000 yard areas. But most the targets I'm shooting at not that far so the binos are working out great. The Bushnell Forge 15x binos would represent a perfect middle ground. I have looked through them and the Forge line is good to go. Amazing clarity for the price. I would let your target yardages dictate, but for me shooting PRS, I think the forge 15x binos will eventually be the choice.

Agreed that for general match spotting, etc the 15x binos are the way to go. That said, if you want/need accessories mounted to a spotter (LRF, target pointer, etc) then the LMSS is a great way to go.
