Suppressors E File Form 1 Question

This is for an SBR, not a can, but I figured this was the best section for the question.

This is my first time to attempt an e file, I bought a lower and am looking to SBR it. I'm filling out the 5320.23. Here are my questions:

Question 4b: I have a complete KAC lower that I purchased, I am looking to SBR it and then buy an upper for it. in question 4b (name and address of maker) would I put KAC info or my trust info? Since I am "building" the gun as it's only a lower right now, or is it the manufacturer of the lower's info?

Question 4c: What is the firearm model since this is just a lower?

Put your trust name and address. Your trust is the maker of the SBR.

The only option was to select from a list of manufacturers, which I did...chose the maker/model of my lower. @ccasanova all good! The NFA and it's enforcement is absolutely absurd so the more info and Q&A to help out law abiding citizens the better.

I'm going to be going through this process soon. Just to clarify, I have to have an approved tax stamp in my hands before I get my lower engraved, correct? It is currently built as a pistol configuration.

NO, get it engraved first! The last thing you want is to pay and wait for a stamp, then have the engraving get messed up or lost in shipping or something else.

I had several engraved at the same time on the off chance I wanted to SBR more lowers down the road. I submitted my second one several years later.

Just to follow up with my situation above...I was disapproved...again. This time for putting my trust name as the “manufacturer”. I emailed the lady multiple times including pictures of my previous paperwork, which was filled out exactly the same, and was approved. Evidently something has changed. She wanted pics of my engraving as well, so heads up to you guys who are holding off on that until you get your paperwork back.

This makes no sense. You can't build it until you get approved so how would you show a pick of your engraving?

I guess it may be on an AR lower in which case you can engrave it whenever with whatever.

What engraving is needed to turn, or make an sbr. I'm in the process myself to make one. So what is needed, or how do people make a pistol, to an sbr. This wld be my 1st sbr. Once its official. Thanks for any input.
