It's a worthy upgrade,

There were some changes with Newcon and honestly they have a lot of great units for not a lot of money compared to the rest

Their avenue for sales is a pain, but their products are getting better and connectivity is very good.

I found the unit to be excellent, just a bit spartan, which the App helps a ton.

I had several Newcons here and used them

There were some quirks that needed to be addressed but otherwise the system was solid.

The software was in the early stages and was good, the units are a bit clunky, very Russian Cold War in their style, but they work.

The biggest negative I saw was a few units that were Mils only, and Metric, with no options for yards or MOA. It wasn't a huge deal but it was enough that people would complain not being Able to order what they want. The software was limited but I felt they had the talent to fix it, whether they did or not I have no idea it's been years.

but the Newcons I felt had opportunity, just not sure they took advantage of the insight I provided to fix things for the US market
