Just got a Ruger Gunsite as a gift in .308. What would be my best option for swapping the barrel out for a 6.5cm?

To not too.

One of the better woods gun options in .308 as it is. Take the goofy rail off, put on the rings, & hunt with it.

I've always thought those were nice rifles. If you are dead set on rebarreling, just find a smith to spin you up a custom barrel. I'd shoot it as is myself.
